Preparation

- Mix the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, salt, and optional cornstarch together in a large bowl.
- In a separate bowl, blend the eggs, warm milk, melted unsalted butter, and vanilla extract.
- Add the wet mixture to the dry ingredients and stir gently just until combined, keeping some small lumps in the batter.
- Coat the preheated waffle iron with non-stick spray or melted butter.
Cooking
- Add enough waffle batter to the iron to fill the grid while avoiding overflow.
- Cook the waffles for 3–5 minutes until they are golden and crisp.

- Serve the waffles warm with desired toppings such as syrup, fruit, whipped cream, or butter.
