  • 8 oz (227 g) cream cheese, softened
  • 3 oz (85 g) Velveeta cheese, cubed
  • 15 oz (425 g) can black beans, drained and rinsed
  • Chili powder, to taste
  • Cumin, to taste
  • Cayenne pepper, to taste
Toppings and Serving
  • Fresh cilantro, chopped, for topping
  • Tortilla chips, for serving

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Add the softened cream cheese, cubed Velveeta cheese, and prepared chili to a microwave-safe bowl.
  2. Heat the mixture in short microwave intervals, stirring between each interval, until the cheeses have melted.
  3. Mix the melted cheese and chili mixture until it becomes smooth and evenly combined.
  4. Gently stir in the drained black beans, then season with chili powder, cumin, and cayenne pepper to taste.
  5. Move the dip to a mini crockpot or warm serving bowl to help keep the texture smooth.
  6. Finish with chopped cilantro and serve with tortilla chips.
