Meet Emily Carter, Founder of Tasteza Recipes

Hi, I’m Emily Carter, the creator of Tasteza Recipes.

I’m a home cook who truly enjoys creating simple, dependable recipes for everyday life. I started this site after feeling frustrated by recipes that looked beautiful online but didn’t always work in a real home kitchen.

Too often, I came across instructions that were overly complicated, ingredients that were hard to find, or techniques that didn’t match everyday cooking. I wanted to create a space where recipes felt practical, approachable, and designed for real kitchens not just perfect photos.

Tasteza Recipes was built around one simple goal: helping home cooks feel confident making meals that actually work.

Why Home Cooking?

For me, home cooking isn’t about perfection or presentation. It’s about confidence in the kitchen, meals that fit busy days, and recipes that deliver reliable results the first time you try them.

I believe good food should feel approachable not intimidating. A recipe should guide you clearly, support your learning, and make the cooking process enjoyable from start to finish.

Every recipe you find here is something I genuinely cook in my own kitchen. These are meals I prepare for myself and my family  dishes that fit real routines and everyday life.

My Story

I grew up watching meals bring my family together. Some of my favorite memories happened around the kitchen table not in restaurants, but at home.

Food was never just something we shared. It was part of daily life, conversations, and moments of connection. Those early experiences quietly shaped my love for cooking.

When I started cooking for myself, the experience felt very different.

Like many beginners, I relied on online recipes for guidance. Instead of feeling encouraged, I often felt overwhelmed. Complicated steps, unfamiliar ingredients, and unclear instructions made cooking feel stressful rather than enjoyable.

That turning point pushed me to approach cooking differently.

I began simplifying recipes, adjusting techniques, and testing meals repeatedly until they felt clear and dependable. Instead of chasing perfection, I focused on creating dishes that were realistic, practical, and satisfying to make.

Over time, cooking became less intimidating and far more rewarding.

I’ve been cooking at home for over eight years, learning through experimentation, practice, and countless hours spent refining techniques in my kitchen. Every success and every mistake helped me understand what truly makes a recipe work.

My Philosophy

Good recipes should feel achievable, clear, and genuinely enjoyable to prepare.

No unnecessary complexity.
No hard-to-find ingredients.
Just real food for real kitchens.

That philosophy became the foundation of Tasteza Recipes a space where cooking feels approachable, practical, and designed for everyday life.
